I'm so sorry, tbr. My father died earlier this year and it completely fucking sucks.

Sucks. Sorry to hear about your mom. Especially at this time of the year. Both my parents were in hospice during the Christmas season. Back to back years. Seven and eight years ago.

I can’t see TBRs post (he has me blocked). It sounds serious though, and to be happening around the holidays are tough. Let him know I am sorry to hear he is going through a tough time .

While I appreciate the sentiment, Thanksgiving has not been a good time for my family.

Two years ago today, at this very minute, I was five hours into a 13 hour open heart surgery. Thankfully, I came through just fine.

Wednesday, my mom was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. Yesterday, she coded.

She is on a ventilator, and not expected to survive.
