Along with all of the "upgrades" that SLS has implemented that have driven people away from the platform altogether.

When it comes to sex, there is very little new under the sun. A lot of the sex related topics already exist and/or have been beaten to death, so I guess it comes down to what people come to forums for.
I wasn't aware that the mobile app excluded forum access, but there are an increasing # of people that won't access something if it doesn't have an app. You can of course still access the site via a browser on your phone versus the app, but some will choose an app over that if one is available.
There are topics (like Covid and politics) that have polarized people into extremes on both sides. I know I personally have added a few of those to my Block list, as I'm sure others have done the same to me. I have seen people block others with no dialog at all with them.
Lastly, SLS has made some unpopular choices in the past (like eliminating email) as well as having reliability issues that may have driven some of the current or potential forum goers elsewhere.

So as one who has been here for what like 8 years.. it has changed especially when CL closed down.. we are actually going back to our original and old ways of finding swingers. Example.. just this week we were at our 'gym".. our trainer who is a great guy, fantastic conversations about life, healthy, loves to have fun.. well one of us brought up swinging and sex.. and guess what he is a swinger and was on another site.. he joined SLS yesterday to check our xxx photos out after us persuading him to do so .
He came over last night, once again great conversation and some fantastic sex with Kat.. he is a definite keeper and we already have plans to go out dancing etc.
Seems our way of feeling people out and vetting in person has always worked better for "us" than the fakes , flakes, negative people who are on SLS.. only half are real fun swingers that we have come across.. In 'our" opinion it would be better to keep the forums away from politics, and just swinging .. even we get drawn into the "crap" and hate it for doing it... it just gets old for us and YES shame on us !
Forums are only available is using a computer, not available on the APP... I am sure as more people utilize the app instead of a web based computer more will be lost as well. Some who signed up through the app have no idea there is even a forum available...
