Pinch an inch!

To this day, I think of this.

Someone actually uploaded Kmart announcements to Archive.

Oh, Palmolive. You're soaking in it!

Wow, Melvin nailed a huge swath of them. I'd have to actually do a thinking.

There was the Budweiser frogs.

"Don't squeeze the Charmin."

"Time to make the doughnuts."

"Kiddie City... Turn that frown upside down!"

"Where's the beef?"

"Calgon... Take me away!"

"Timex... Takes a licking; keeps on ticking."

"Pardon me... Do you have any Grey Pupon?"

"Yo Joe!"

"... And knowing's half the battle."

"Help! I've fallen and can't get up!"

"Help! I've fallen and can't reach my beer!"

Look up the video for Airhead by KMFDM.

A real trip back into the 80s, and not the usual like Deloreans and Rubik's Cubes. Many familiar brands but often ads or slogans that have mostly fallen into memory of those 45+.

One startling inclusion is a clip from a TV show called "Big Top Talent" with a ridiculous green-suited clown named Oopsie. It ran from 1979 to 1994 but on only a single air-only channel out of Kitchener, Ontario. Basically unless you grew up in that area there's almost no chance you've heard of it. Since I did grow up there, it was a bit of a shock to see something I'd forgotten about long ago.

What are some commercial tag lines that you remember when you were a child or you’re younger years? Mine was Bartles and James Wine coolers. The tagline was “ And thank you for your support”.
