Catfish!

Though it's scripted and fake, the TV series Catfish is funny.... For a few hours to kill during this lockdown.

Technically you weren't exactly catfished. That is when you get fake pics including a mug shot and then set a date to meet. The person will actually be at the bar, coffee shop, or restaurant watching you while you send messages back and forth and they keep running late until they need to cancel. Yes, that has happened to us and we did figure out who it was sitting across the room from us.

How did it happen? I want to hear stories. Some people post their full pictures, some others don’t for privacy concerns. Would you meet with someone refusing to show a face pic? Or a full body picture?

Once I met this “couple” after talking for a couple of weeks, I got there and it was just the “husband”, he said she was on her way from running errands (at 10pm) so we waited, and waited... he offered me a beer, I accepted. He called his “wife” on several occasions but she didn’t answer at all, I thought it was weird, so I decided to leave the place, I politely excused myself and suggested he should be worried about his wife, but he didn’t seem interested... then he offered me a BJ. Which I refused... and left.

Another time, guys were not the same in the pictures, I left, and another user from here refused to send face pictures at all. That was a no for me.
