Testicular retraction

Mayhem, yes, this isn't just normal thermal shrinkage. That also happens to me like any normal guy, but mine is more like my large Intestin is touching a nerve it shouldn't and causing my penis and scrotum to severely constrict, when my colon is full. I used to think this is probably normal for guys but the more I talk to people and medical professionals, the more I understand it isn't. My uncle was a lifetime nudist and I used to wonder how anyone could be naked morning to night, because anyone that has this sure as the hell wouldn't, I can promise you that!

blq69 - That sounds like something beyond normal thermal shrinkage. I have seen at least one guy where his "penis" retracts inside of him, but his testicles do not. He is small to begin with, but he has never mentioned being in pain when that happens. The few times I have seen him at parties, usually before or after he's done playing his penis length is literally a negative number.

If I am cold it is not unusual for me to shrink to 3-4" or so and to about double in size when fully hard. It used to be awkward, but I think most (if not all) women in the LS know that there isn't always a correlation to soft and hard sizes. I've seen guys in porn that are hung like a horse soft, but don't seem to get much bigger when they're hard.

blqt69- Have you looked into pelvic floor therapy? Yes, it is a thing for guys to. The issues you are describing with the perineal (pudendal component) does tie in and might be helped by a PT who is specifically trained to work with males and their pelvic floor. It's a pretty rare specialization. My region, for example, only has one gal trained in it. But I've seen her help MANY men. So I'd say it's worth a shot. The quacks you speak of may not be aware enough to make the referral. Typically the ones that are not sex-positive (advocating and prioritizing of sexual pleasure/pursuits) are clueless in some of these matters. For me, it goes far beyond my sack constricting. My penis and scrotum constrict to child like proportions for a variety of reasons, but mainly due to an impending bowel movement. To say this is uncomfortable and embarrassing is an understatement, life changing is more like it! My “condition” affects every part of my daily life trying to alleviate my discomfort. If I wake and have a complete and cleansing BM my junk hangs loose and normal for the rest of the day. If, god forbid, I’m constipated I am uncomfortable for the day, even if only mentally. I have consulted Drs and PAs but I haven’t gained much other than a PA told me not to go to any of my local urologists because they are all quacks. This was from a PA that stated the urologists are his friends, I definitely appreciated his honesty. I have also been told something is suspect with my perineal nerve that may be causing my issues. As a whole, I’m fine and comfortable but there are times I am so completely uncomfortable and my junk is completely constricted and shrunken! I normally have a nice unit but man I can also have some personal problems and this has been since teenage years!

Anyways, anyone else have this issue?

Think of your scrotum as a thermostat. When the testicles need to be cooled, it expands, allowing for more distance from the body. When they need to be warmed it contracts allowing for them to be closer. We all know about "shrinkage"....that's just the thermostat doing it's thing.

Sorillo, they actually sit in their lil marble bag because they need to be kept at a lower temp than our bodies for proper function and the overall surface area of the scrotum allows for that temperature differential. Seriously. Yours could be different though.

My ex didn’t like me taking mine with me when I went out with the boys. Not sure why. I was always very well behaved.

We all do, because testicles have to be kept at slightly higher temperature than the rest of the body for proper function. Seriously.

How this relates to the floppy "old man balls" affliction, I don't know. I don't WANT to know.

This is just one of those things that makes you go, Hmmmm. If I get cold, my balls actually retract up inside me. Just curious how many other guys experience this?
