I did look it up recently and found the dry orgasm thing, and yes, that does sound like what's going on. Mayhem- What you are describing sound like dry orgasms. Orgasms happen in the brain (releasing Dopamine along with other feel-good chemicals), ejaculation (in men) happens in the testicles/penis. Dry orgasms are really common in those recovering from or struggling with prostate problems. However, this can also happen when you're cutting your refractory period too short. In other words, you're balls haven't loaded another bullet in the chamber but your brain is ready to release. Timing it right is actually how we treat premature ejaculation. Ejaculate ahead of time, starting at 12hrs prior to sex then keep cutting the time frame in half until you get to failure (of erection, ejaculation, orgasm, etc.) and keep adding 30min. increments until you get consistent success with your ejaculations being right where you (and your partner(s)) want them. For about the past year or so I have noticed where I will go through all of the same sensations as having an orgasm except there is little to no ejaculate and there is no down time. They are otherwise very pleasurable like a full orgasm and I can sometimes have 3 or more of them in a 30 minute span of time.
This seemed to start shortly after I started taking Saw Palmetto for prostate health, but I can find no such side-effects, so suspect it was just coincidence.
