I did my own using a Tara Klamp device about a decade ago. I didn't like the excess skin but didn't want it all gone, so I did what is called a "semi-circ"... only partially cut. I came a cross two women who claimed they would never touch an uncut one because they believed them to be dirty. One of them had encountered one in high school for the first time and said it stunk and had some gunk on it. So I guess that guy ruined it for her. Lol. As far as my time with it uncut, never a complaint... never hygiene issues (All you have to do is clean it as you would any other part of the body!). One encounter made me feel odd at first because she had never seen one uncut up close. So she was very detailed with her exploration, pulling it and sliding it up and down. It was just odd, but I was happy to help her get her curiosity over with. After cutting it, it took a while to heal (no sutures, just a clamp). I did lose some tingling sensations that I do remember being on the excess skin, but no big deal from my point of view. I had already kept the skin retracted long before cutting it, so the sensitivity around the head was already reduced. Now, I have come across women who claim to have seen botched ones apparently from circumcision as a baby, and some adult ones with what looks like railroad tracks across it from the stitches. Ouch...
