Running into people you know.

Ridgeville, SC, Us

When it happens at a party or even it has generally been fine. Only once has it been a "problem" and that was because the person that knew us could not get over the image they have of us from the vanilla world. As they were new to the lifestyle it seemed to throw them off. We have since met again at the same location months later and they seemed better able to handle it even talking to us a bit. Thankfully they seem to not go as often as we do and have time to "process" it as they put it.

Now meeting from folks outside the lifestyle at vanilla places can be a bit trickier. Generally it is like meeting friends from anywhere else if they even let on they recognize you. In fact we had that happen today and honestly we are not sure if we were recognized or not but we did speak to each other as he was working at a volunteer booth. Then we have had folks who could have been a little more discrete about things. Generally though it has not been a problem.

We went to a Hotel Takeover out of town, we figured we would know nobody. We walk into the main ballroom and an attractive blonde comes running up to my wife and gives her a big hug. They chatted a second or two then my wife turns around and whispers, "I'm gonna kill you" to me. She turned and they chatted some more then the lady walked left. My wife then informs me that it was one of her high school classmates. LOL We have run into several people that we both work with over the years, current and past, neighbors, people from church, school friends, and family.
LOL Yes, everybody was there for the same reason. :-)

I'm sure it has happened to most of us. But, what happened when you ran into someone you knew, in the real world, at a lifestyle event? How did it come about? How did it work out?
