The forums have a shit ton of people that show up, write one diahrea post usually posing a question, many people reply til the thread is flush with info and the OP never shows up again to check a thread where their comment got buried like a tootsie roll in a litter box.

It stinks when that happens but I’m glad you pooped back in

I guess the reason there is no "introduce yourself" thread is because as soon as fresh meat...um....new people show up the first thing everyone does is go perv....check out....visit their profile to read all about them and certainly NOT to drool over their photos.

Hey everyone,

I don’t really have a point to my post – just saying “hi”. I’m used to online school and mom’s club type forums that usually have an “introduce yourself” thread going. Just wanted to speak up so I didn’t feel like someone just lurking around!

We joined SLS about a week ago, right after some friends took us to our first party. My husband and I have been playing with a couple unicorns for about a year and we’d toyed with single men a bit, but the ones I picked tended to chicken out (insert sexy pouty emoji here). But this party was the first time I got to do all of the things! It was amazing and we are totally hooked. We’ve got a date with a local couple next weekend and I can’t wait.

And, working on our profile is definitely on my to-do list. I’ve been lurking in the “Better Profiles” forum to take in some advice second-hand. There’s some good stuff in there so I’m brimming with ideas! Now I just need the time to make it happen.
