I do have some advice. First, work on your profile (there is blunt but helpful advice available if you start a thread in Better Profiles), because what you have isn't good. Second, attend events, including meet & greets. Meet people, in other words.
I'm new to this as well. I'm a guy that is looking to have some fun. Does anyone have any advice as to getting started on a site like this, meeting people, etc?

My advice is to create a new, free profile and then ask SLS customer service to trasfer your billing information over to it.
Your biggest issue right now is that your profile name is clearly for a couple, so get that fixed. Then put a little more thought into your profile, take some photos that hide your face, and be polite when emailing people.
