Good erotic stories, like good porn must "move along". That's why erotic short stories work well.
This is why sites like Pormhub are so successful. Not a lot of storyline (if any) before they get right down to it. Even when there is storyline, a lot of guys tend to fast forward to the sex part. I think women in general like when there is a storyline and guys want to get right down to it. That would appear to be the case even for guys that dress like women ;-)

Right now, life is extremely busy for us, but if/when things settle, that is something I'd consider doing with some spare time. Over the years I have written stories for people I know, and they tend to be more erotic for the target audience. I of course change the names, but I weave in enough fact with fiction that the person I'm writing for knows who's who.
As can be guessed here, the written word comes easy to me, so I can pump out a 6 or so page short story in a matter of a few hours.
What I've found is, just like women can look sexier with certain clothes on versus being completely naked, a good story makes it clear what is going on, but not in an explicit graphic blow by blow way. It's good to leave something to the imagination, as many people's imagination can be as or more vivid than reality.
A real life example of that is we went with a couple for a drink after a party, and the girls switched vehicles, meaning I had the couple's wife in my car and the Mrs was in the other car in front of us. At one point, I could see my wife's head head disappear from site, and knew what she was doing even though I couldn't see it.
I commented about it to the girl I was with and she was like, "Oh my God! What do you think she's doing?" I told her that I was 99% sure her husband was getting a blow job right now. Unfortunately she didn't do the same and was surprisingly shocked by it. Didn't matter, because it was hot getting back together with the Mrs later and confirmed what happened.
Our sex was extra steamy that night, and I could literally feel the Mrs getting wetter when I reminded her of how "naughty" she was earlier. What I envisioned happening was more erotic than as if I was in the backseat of their car and being able to actually see it.
Mayhem, I'd be interested in reading some of those ""pervy" aka "sexual escapade" stories you could pump out. Have you thought any more about posting or publishing them? There is definitely an audience. Just saying. Eileen
It's not my definition. Perv can be considered short for "pervert". Google "pervert definition". As mentioned, I think "erotic" or "kinky" is probably closer to what was meant, hopefully.
I basically agree with mayhem8. However, I don't interpret perv as what you define it as. There was a time when 2 ladies kissing was considered perverted. "Hustler" magazine was once called perverted just because it showed a woman's pussy. Things have clearly changed a great deal over the years.
If I mention young, remember 18-24 is young to me. Those are legal years but still young.
In other words, the term Perv means different things to everyone. The examples mayhem8 gave are clearly over the line (for good reasons). Personally, I love many things that can excite the imagination.
I think the author may have meant "erotic" rather than "pervy". The latter is defined as unacceptable sex practices. Considering the audience, that would include things like incest, pedophilia, beastiality, and skat play. While there are no doubt people that enjoy those sorts of things here, they're things better kept to oneself, even if they are fiction
As many of us know, some people already have a problem distinguishing fiction from reality, as evidenced by other threads about the influence of porn, particularly on some SMs thinking that's how things really work.
People are certainly welcome to disregard this message, but history in the forums has already shown that this sort of thing will NOT be well received here. Unfortunately there is no ability to change a title if the author really did mean "erotic" vs "pervy".
All perv stories are interesting. Even the most prudish person has desires of some kind. The ability to touch the imagination and express the desires and thoughts are what makes one story better than another. But they all prove to be a doorway into the mind.
It is said that only your imagination limits you. Not all desires may be realized. But they are within the mind.
For example, I have a passion for panties and stockings - depending upon who wears them or more. They can be a doorway into the erotica and fascination depending upon how they are worn and/or used.
I think some things are best left to private conversations.
I've posted a few stories on this site. The ones I wrote about were true experiences. But I don't feel I'm a very good writer. I've read others that are much better. But I enjoyed what I experienced.
I used to write short erotic stores for the Mrs, and then for a couple LS friends. I was considering writing/publishing a book of them, since the written word comes so easily to me. I could probably pump out a book in a months time.
The stories were fiction, but by knowing about the people I was writing for, it allowed me to inject enough real details that the stories had more impact on the target audience.
Over the years there have been enough sexy real encounters that we've had that I could write them as non-fiction. Since we've actually started living out more of our fantasies, I've spent a lot less time writing about them than actually seeking to play them out.
