I offer an apology to anyone that may have been waiting for an answer from user YourWetWilly's posed question from the last time this topic was active. Life for myself outside of the lifestyle had been hectic, plus I dealt with a life-threatening health issue. Both are better now.

In short, my intent with this topic was to have people converse about things they see, experience, may have advice to give or are seeking advice about the workforce. This topic was not intended to be as a means of 'outing' yourself or 'outing' others in the workforce, as user YourWetWilly eludes to.

Hey just curious what "The Lifestyle" has anything to do with what you have listed?

"What is most important in this category, is the help for people in our lifestyle to gain or retain their employment and to make it profitable for them."

From what I know, seen, heard, read etc. etc... People in the LS are just not flamboyant about it in the work environment, or even a meet and greet for that matter.

So maybe I am missing something, do you care to elaborate? I am always open to discuss and learning something new.

We all have had our ups and downs in the workplace. In today's work environment, it is even more tough for people to obtain or even retain employment that are fresh out of high school, fresh out of college, under educated, over qualified, older in age and people that are discriminated against. In a perfect world, people can obtain the type of gainful employment that they seek. Sadly, this is not the case.

There are many factors that go in to someone gaining employment. There are many factors that go in to people retaining employment. There are many factors that go in to why people leave their employment position. There are many factors that go in to why someone is let go from an employer.

What is most important in this category, is the help for people in our lifestyle to gain or retain their employment and to make it profitable for them. We all know of people in various employment roles, from all kinds of jobs in the workforce. Here is where information can be shared to give people a leg up on the many applicants for a particular role that someone seeks.

This category is for exactly what the title states. Here you can discuss all things in the workforce and build connections. Please refrain from any negativity in this category.
