Need a good quality flogger

Just wanted to report back. We got the flogger today in the mail from GoodStuff100 on Etsy. I checked it over and, for the price, it seems to be of pretty good quality. Within a minute of opening/inspecting it, it was introduced to my wife's exposed ass. She was afraid at first, not knowing what to expect. I did some soft circles and then figure 8's. She said "oh, that's kinda nice." Then I held the end and did some harder strikes....she LOVED it!! We're going to test it out more tonight but I have a feeling that while she'll enjoy this, we might need to step it up in the sting dept. because I could tell that's what she was waiting for. Maybe a better made crop? Cane? We're going to have to experiment and see what pleases her.

We have a 100 tail suede flogger we bought on ebay. Suede seems to make for a good starter flogger because it's nearly impossible to accidentally inflict pain. For that matter, even the hardest hits are pretty mild.

Only drawback is that some of the tails will break off over time. As mentioned, for about $30 it's no biggy. Great for practice and safe play and the soft suede feels good just slowly brushing it across bare skin.

We didn't see any toys at the club we went to other than the motor bunny (which is on our list) and were told that toys weren't typically brought/used. To be honest though, we prefer dates and houses to clubs. We've already loaded up the tantra chair for a date. The benefits of our first SUV.

RonKathy- Hey! She asked me to get one for her! And who am I to say no?? ;-) As for the toy storage, we really need to find something, but unless it's close to the size of a small foot locker with dividers built in, a dr's bag isn't going to cut it. Thanks though.

So then no one has bought from GoodStuff100 I'm taking it. Bought a flogger from there. Under $32 shipped with 70 19" suede falls, braided handle, and hanger loop. Fingers crossed my wife's ass and vulva enjoy it! If not, won't cry over it. I'll hang it for decoration at my office.

Checked out Etsy....Whispersoffire looks nice but a very limited selection. Found another seller GoodStuff100 that has a ton of options and seems to be of good quality but is anyone familiar with this seller? Thanks!

Coincidentally, I just bought a crop last night. We are attending a party in a dungeon this weekend. Our host has plenty of toys and tools, but I want to bring our own.

Maybe you should try attending some munches and other local events so that you can see, and possibly feel, different floggers and thudders in action.

Your post sent me down the rabbit hole that is Etsy's bdsm tool vendors, because I couldn't remember my password. That meant I had no easy way to fiind who I use (a leather daddy someplace east of me who makes the most incredible whips and floggers), but I certainly tried.

Anyway, it's an individual thing, but good thudders are more like the best massage you've ever had., while stingers bring the pain. The degree varies, based on length, material, and thickness, but they never don't cause at least a sharp sensation.

As an introduction, unless you are drawn to pain, a thudder is probably a better option. There the trick is to find one that is effective. I have a beautiful one that just doesn't work because it's too soft.

Single- When you say "cared for"...what exactly does that mean? Also, I need to clarify with my wife if she enjoys the sting or thud. Since she didn't enjoy me going full force with the crop, I'm going to guess thud more than sting....but we'll see. I've been educating myself on what shape/size the falls should be for different sensations. Thanks for the suggestion.
