Pineapples

He was probably sending out a signal, lost opportunity maybe...

Over the weekend in a campground, saw a spare tire cover with an upside down pineapple on it. I wanted to let him know it was upside down, just for the fun of it.

Maybe the can of pineapples will catch on. Dole should thank us soon.

Jacknsuz I wish I lived closer. I would recognize what she was looking for. My wife and I play separate some so I could pick your wife up and help her put her groceries away.

She didn't have any luck.....said nobody paid any attention to the pineapple. Had a few eyeballing her tig ol bitties, but only looked. At least they acted like gentlemen. Oh well, she can try again another day!

We have heard about this many times. Every time we go to the grocery store my wife turns all the Pineapples upside down in the rack and we laugh. I'm sure the produce worker hates us when he has to rearrange them. We also have a neighborhood near us that is known for swingers. Supposedly if you have white rocks in your yard it's game on. We now have a Boulder in our front yard.

Suz went to our place in Myrtle Beach yesterday, and told me a few minutes ago that she's headed to Wal Mart to pick up a few things. Yep it works ,I have heard of this for years so one day at Public grocery I tried putting a pineapple in my buggy and in ten minutes a guy approached me with a pineapple in his buggy He asked if I liked them and I said it was sort of an experiment and I explained He laughed loudly! then asked if I would like to follow him home to meet his wife of course I said yes . He called her right there then we left it turned into a very nice and highly sexual afternoon, So in closing I can absolutely say It Works!!!!

I always thought the SLS symbol would be a good way to advertise Upside down means spoken for or not looking and right side up says Lets chat and see where it goes

I always put on deck to ripen more, sun makes them sweeter. Tried a Pineapple, sweeter, no callers at our front door.

Anybody have any luck with their upside down Pineapples? If you ever go to Charleston, NC, take a tour. They will explain the pineapple messaging. "Husband is at sea, do not come calling." or "Husband is home, friends welcome". It was a public notice of welcoming friends.

I've never heard it but if you are seeing it, you should ask.. Why not?

I was told that a thumb ring is a symbol for the same but that's way too common to be foolproof.

If camping where you may never see the same people again, it probably doesn't matter as much if you guess wrong. You have a pretty good chance that someone that knows what an upside down pineapple is will be a swinger, or at least be swinger friendly.

For us, we'd probably hang out and talk first anyway just to see if we all enjoyed each other as friends first. If that went well, we'd probably find a way to broach the subject like, "So, do you put that pineapple on or was it the previous owners?". If they said that they did, we'd be like, "Yeah, we're swingers too." ;-)

Fantastic idea but how do you approach someone with a pineapple decal and slide into the topic of swinging?
