Yeah as a single male that happens to me a lot! Sometimes I don't hear from anyone for months then all of a sudden couples/ladies who I have not heard from in a long time or couples who I though just was not interested will contact me in groves! It's a strange thing but I just go with the flow and enjoy...hehe!!
Yes, this happens quite a bit and sometimes seasonal. The weather is either too nice or too bad and can affect scheduling on both ends. Take the dates when you can as you will no doubt run through a drought.

I have been meeting others from on line as a single woman for 17yrs. My experience has been that about 80% of the plans I make never happen. Whether it is car, work, kid/s, illness, family problems or they simply ghost me. I never take it personal, shit happens and I wont chase them as they know how to reach me. I sometimes already have a plan B in place due to this experience.
Through these yrs I have notice that at the beginning of a new Season I get an uptick in males that reach out to me. This has truly been consistent with my experiences and some of these people hadn't contact me in a yr maybe 2.
My theory from the Seasonal uptick boils down to the fact that we are all part of the animal kingdom, and have many of the same basic animal instincts (warmth, shelter, food and sex). During each seasonal change the animals start a new phase, then as the season progresses the animals move on. Do you see the correlation I have made? Perhaps I watch to much PBS....
been on a dry spell for a while but i think it has a lot to do with how unreliable this site is.
For sure. We’re in one of those dry spells right now. We posted on “Hot Date” for last night and didn’t get one response. :(. So we made the best of it and turned it into a date night.
That has been true especially with the summer months when everyone has tons of other things to do. We have always taken the breaks as a good time to re-center ourselves and are thankful that it isn't always constant.

Yep, same here. We never could figure out why they always come in clusters. Maybe the clusters follow some astrological event...like Venus having a conjunction with the Gemini twins. Or something like that! :)
Many times over the last 22yrs we have been playing. Every reason from health, work, mood, family, weather, lifes circumstances, availability, intersestes. It happenes. Just realize its all part of the lifestyle and keep having fun.

Does it seem like you can go a couple of months, without any play, wether it be flakes not showing up, or endless emails that go nowhere. And then out of the blue you will have 3 in a week.
