Had an awesome time on the Ausable River a couple years back. Have been wanting to do it again, tried too late in the season this year and all the good cabins were booked.
Tubing
I enjoy a good float. The Platte River is nice, the Chippewa River is also a good one for it. I prefer to kayak though.

Platte River is one of our favorite places to tube. We have been going there for over 30 years. Just awesome.

We do. The Platte River up in Honor Mi is a nice relaxing tube trip emptying out into Lake Michigan where there is a nice beach and dunes
