Nearly 30 years ago — back in December 1996 — Frank Magarelli opened the doors to Club Encounters and built more than a venue. He built a community, a gathering place, a home for connection, and a space where people could show up exactly as they are. His vision shaped decades of nights, memories, friendships, and stories that still echo through every room.
On May 22 and 23, we come together to honor the man who started it all.
This weekend is a celebration in the truest sense — a chance to share stories, laugh, remember, and enjoy the club the way Frank always intended: with warmth, openness, and good energy. Whether you knew him personally or simply felt the impact of what he created, you’re invited to be part of this tribute.
